Aspall Cider's English Dry cyder is made from a blend of classic UK cider apples (including Kingston Black, Cox Orange Pippins, Yarlington Mill, and Bramley), fermented with Champagne yeast. This cider is more reminiscent of a modern U.S. cider than many classic UK ciders, though with less sweetness and more complexity.
Straw in color with a clear appearance and lively sparkle. Lightly floral and apple forward aromatics. Slightly creamy on the palate with a medium-full body. Good acid balance with mild soft tannins. Tastes of crisp apples and honeysuckle. Has a nice lingering finish.
Great with all kinds of food, especially charcuterie, mild cheeses, and spicy foods.
